Polyethylene
Polyethylene (PE) is the most widely used plastic in the world, and is used extensively in packaging supplies. There are several types of PE, but the most common types used for packaging are High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). Polyethylene is durable, tear-resistant, and flexible, making it a good choice for packaging heavy items.Get Quote
Polypropylene
Polypropylene (PP) is another type of plastic commonly used for packaging. The biggest difference is that PE is a translucent plastic, while polypropylene is completely clear. Polypropylene bags are lightweight, FDA and USDA-compliant for food and medical use, and typically less expensive than polyethylene.Get Quote
Tyvek®
Tyvek® bags are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) fibers that are randomly laid and pressed into sheets. Tyvek® looks and feels very similar to paper or fabric and is lightweight, incredibly durable, water-resistant, and resistant to punctures and tears. Tyvek® bags are extremely versatile, reusable, and recyclable.Get Quote
Flat
Flat bags (aka flat poly bags) are the simplest type of bag available. Usually made from polyethylene, they have one opening that is sealable via taping, stapling, heat, or tying. They are available in various thicknesses, generally from 1 mil all the way to 6 mils - with 2 mils being the most common (in comparison, a typical credit card measures about 31 mils thickness). Flat poly bags are a no-frills, cost-effective solution for simple packaging needs.Get Quote
Gusseted
Gussets are extra pieces of material added to bags that give them extra space inside. They can also be used to reinforce bags, usually to hold their shape and support weight. Bags can have bottom gussets to give them a flat bottom (good for products that need to stay right-side up), side gussets, or both the bottom and sides (sometimes called "all side" gusset bags).Get Quote
Tubing
Essentially one long bag with no end, tubing is sold in rolls and can be cut into bags of any length. Rolls of tubing are sold in various widths and roll lengths. Tubing is great for companies that have multiple products of various sizes that need to be packaged.Get Quote
Reclosable
Reclosable (aka resealable) bags have a plastic zipper that creates an air- and water-tight seal to protect their contents. Some also have a slider on top to make opening and resealing easier. Variations include reclosable anti-static, tamper-evident, and bubble bags.Get Quote
Anti-Static
Anti-Static bags work perfect for computer parts and other sensitive electronics that can easily be damaged by static shocks. Anti-Static bags are usually pink or have a caution label printed on the bag itself for easy identification.Get Quote
Static Shielding (ESD)
Static Shielding (aka Electrostatic Discharge or ESD) bags are similar to Anti-Static bags, but provide protection from static on the outside AND inside. They are made of multiple layers to create a Faraday cage effect to protect materials from electrostatic discharge. Extra care must be taken with Static Shielding bags to ensure they aren't breached (by sharp edges, staples, etc.) as this can neutralize the bag's protective properties.Get Quote
High-Density
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) bags are typically made from semi-translucent plastic and available in a wide variety of colors. Most grocery, shopping, and trash bags in the US are HDPE bags. They have a distinct crinkly feel and are relatively thin. They are well-suited to carrying heavy loads without rough edges. They are generally less expensive than their low density counterparts, making them a cost-effective solution.Get Quote
Merchandise
Merchandise bags are typically made of HDPE or Kraft paper and are available in a wide variety of colors, prints, and sizes. They typically have die-cut handles for easy carrying and are well-suited for a wide variety of products.Get Quote
Industrial Covers
Industrial covers (aka equipment covers and furniture bags) are perfect for protecting machinery, toolboxes, sofas, and other large objects. Their polyethylene construction keeps out dust, debris, and moisture during transit or storage.Get Quote
Pallet Covers
Pallet covers keep your packages safe from the elements. They are reusable and made from industrial-strength polyethylene. Pallet covers are most often used for temporary or short-term storage, and are available in several types to suit your needs.Get Quote
Poly Tarps
Polyethylene tarps are great all-purpose tarps for everyday use. They are typically waterproof, mildew- and rot-resistant, and their sturdy construction means they're tear-resistant as well. Some poly tarps are even fire-resistant/flame-retardant for extra protection.Get Quote
Food Service & FDA Approved
FDA-approved bags have been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration for direct contact with food, medicine, and other consumable products. FDA-approved bags must adhere to a strict set of regulations and are generally made from polypropylene or polyethylene.Get Quote
Trash Liners
High-Density trash liners are a great economical choice for paper waste and other lightweight trash. They tend to tear and puncture easily, but they're well-suited for use as light-duty bin liners, such as in offices or classrooms. Low-Density trash liners are meant for heavy-duty use, such as janitorial services, construction, and restaurant kitchens. Low density trash can liners are your typical large black trash bags - stronger, thicker, and much more tear- and puncture-resistant than their High-Density cousins.Get Quote
